Was this a heavy joke? Was this truly upseting?

Everyone knows me for my colorful humor. I'm very open, taking my jokes to a higher level. Not that I'm mean to someone or anything, most of the times I'm the victim in my own jokes because I don't take things too seriously.

So yesterday my ex and me were talking on gtalk, and there was a piece of conversation I took a screen cap from, and then posted it on Facebook in some album. Some minutes later he told me that he likes to have a good laugh with me about stuff he only wants to talk with me, like inside jokes, and those are not to be displayed for public domain. He didn't sound pissed, but rather very serious and I think that's his way of being very pissed. I deleted the image right away and apologized. Still he said he was going to think twice about what to talk with me.

Briefly, the piece of conversation that caused trouble went something like this (I had asked him some favor and wanted to make sure he was okay with it):

Ex: I've felt the tip of your finger up my ass, I think I can handle this.

Me: you liked that one, this is different

Ex: I did not hahaha

Me: you moaned

Ex: of course not!

that was it. He sounded very upset after this and I apologized twice, and took it down of course and told him that I wouldn't be taking our chat out to the public again. How big of a deal was this?! We share the same sick and black humor, I didn't think he was going to flip.
