What does it mean if she stares at me from far away?

I always catch this girl staring at me from far away and she turns her head really quickly when I notice. So basically I asked for her name and just said how are you. For the next two weeks she still stares at me from far away a lot but when we pass each other and I say hi, she just says hi, how are you and keeps on walking(just giving me a quick look when we say hi). I don't really know this girl but I ask her to hang out and she rejects me. After the rejection she still does the same thing. Both before and after the rejection I noticed her friends would tell her when I would leave my table. I know this because sometimes her back is facing towards me and only her friend can see me. When I leave my table and look back I'll see her head turned looking at me. So I'm confused. what are some reasons she looks at me so much. I thought maybe she was interested but I guess I was wrong since she rejected me. Thanks

Hi, a lot of people are saying she's shy but she's not that shy. She did have a break up a few months ago though

That sucks man :/ I don't understand why a girl would do that...she didn't even give you a chance. Yet she still looks/stares...so confusing wth. Maybe cause she is super shy? But even then...if that's the case she will never have a boyfriend. Can't see someone being *that* shy. Honestly...

Possibly. Personally I'd forget about her now (hard I know lol) and if she comes to her senses she will approach you this time.

She most likely wants you to follow her or come over to her. This is the standard.

If she's already rejected you, she's either testing you to see if you're still interested (which you should NOT indulge as it merely fosters a nasty habit of playing games, which she'll be encouraged to do) OR she regrets her original rejection. DON'T count on its being the latter. SHe is most likely playing around with you. Leave her alone and move on to someone who doesn't play games.

She is shy! That's really cute because I know how she feels. Maybe she just thinks you're good looking and IS interested but she wants to see how things play out :)

My advice is to start a proper converstation, not just "hi, how are you?". Add her on Facebook if you both have it, and maybe even try and flirt with her. Then she might not reject you again, but if she does don't get offended, just get to know her more and you should be fine after that! Good luck :)

Well, even if she's shy, look at her actions. She has rejected him every time he asks her out. Dont think about her too much dude. Just move on and let her chase you. She might just be enjoying the attention and does not want anything else.

Ok, she's either a stalker, or has heard something about, or she is shy. Staring is an indication of attraction. Maybe she rejected you because its wrong timing for her.

I think she's interested but probably does not want to get hurt, if she just got out of a relationship then she might be scared to jump back in another one. Try to get to know her before you ask her out and see if you get along, once you guys are comfortable then ask her out again
