Girls like guys who make them laugh?

ok, I understand this and I know its not just jokes or something but just being funny about stuff etc.

Idk what's up, but most of the time when I say things, this girl laughs and giggles. I do like her a lot more then she likes me but is this a good sign or is she making fun of me?

Even her friends laugh at me or at some of the stuff I say when it's not even funny...is this what you girls mean by humor, because I am not even trying to be funny.

Why is she laughing at stuff I say when I am just being nervous? Is laughing at a nervous guy something a girl would do if she didn't like you?

Happy or hyper, girls tend to get more giggly in general. It's the bubbly thing. If it's a tittering shared between girls behind hands to one another, or they're sharing glances, they could either be laughing at your wording, awkward and uncomfortable body language, or be saying things to each other completely on the other side of the board- like girl A teasing girl B about her level of like for you.

If it's just open body language, and honest laughter, you may simply be saying something in your nervousness that strikes them as humorous. Odd as it sounds, it may be true. On the flip side, there's a phenomenon called 'nervous laughter,' which occurs when the person is experiencing discomfort for whatever reason.

Generally, I laugh when a guy is expressing something I find humorous, or in my head, I've connected to something humorous. If I think he's being awkward, I return awkward smiles, not laugh. If he starts babbling, or just looks lost, he's more likely to get an "Aww, cute!" face rather than outright giggles. If she's one for gossip though, I suppose you do run the risk of comments and laughter, but with that sort of "laugh at, not with" scenario, you see a definite communication between the girl and her friends occurring.

Some girls, including me, think that a guy being a little nervous is cute... Like you are trying too hard to please the girl. If she is laughing, then I'm sure she likes you a lot...girls don't often stick around to make fun of a guy unless she is a truly cold-hearted person, which I doubt she is.

Sometimes I wind up starring at her since she's pretty, its like I am zoned out and later when I snap out of it, she and her friends are giggling a bit.

She called me a dork too but she was laughing but I don't think I am a dork, I do wear glasses but really I'm no dork.

I don't get why her/her friends start smiling to themselves when they catch me starring at her, like what's the big freaking deal?

The girl has probably told her friends that you like her and the friends approve of you so they are smiling about the fact that you are staring at her. We girls think stuff like that is cute on occasion lol.

maybe she can't tell that you're nervous and she actually perceives it as you purposefully joking around & she finds it cute/funny.
