alright, every day after one date. a little much if your not already friends. I usually have a night after rule, or one day after. if after two days I haven't heard from him I'll text him, but I'll be trying to figure out why he didn't text, and I won't feel like he likes me as much. Depending how that conversation goes over text he's either a keeper or a leaver.
The waiting game sucks and I hate it. people should stop playing games, do what they want to do. if you like her text her after your date, tell her you liked it. if not, don't text her at all, be short when she messages you or tell her what's up so she doesn't waste her time thinking about you when you want nothing. It's really simple as that. People always think they have to play by some rules or the way dating should go, but if you do what you want when you want to, there's a hell of a lot less confusion and girls and guys a like won't feel bad about themselves in the process.
I would wait about 4 days and contact him, if he hasn't a;ready done so. He could be occupied or just not had the time to reach me.
[BUT that text/message will NOT have a question in it; e.g: how was your day? what have you been up too? : And that's because, if he wants to talk to me, he would show MORE of an effort. I simply broke the ice to potential conversation. ]

I don't like playing the waiting game it annoys me. If he doesn't text I will. But not like crazy non-stop just here and there. Plus I do t really like texting for hours so... yep I like to be direct and move things along

Try an 'every-other-day' approach.
If you both play the waiting game then it's not going to go anywhere. If you like her, message her again to show her your efforts. She might just be unsure on how you really feel. Another text from you may reassure her. Best of luck!
