Is it possible to live a happy life without ever being with a woman and having your own family?

Because I've now planned to raise the white flag and done with approaching girls. My parents would probably bother me at times about why I don't have a girlfriend and looking to settle down but I'll tell them what's up. I'm just planning to live single my whole life. I mean I've lived my past 24 years of my life without ever having a girlfriend, kissing a girl or having sex, I'm sure I can live the rest of my life too and die without really looking to settle down with a woman. Anyways right now I have friends to kill time with but what do I do once they settle down and get busy with their own lives with their own family? Which ways can I stay happy year by year as I get older? And no, I don't mean I'll be single and hooking up. I mean done with approaching girls!

I guess it could be, but I imagine you'd feel lonely and left out when all of your friends and cousins your age are settling down with families. You'll feel lonely at family reunions and BBQ's and on holidays when the people in your age group have famlies there and you don't. It will probably make you feel awful when your parents die and you have no family that you've created on your own to fill in the hurtful gap you'll experience.

This honestly just sounds like you're upset and being dramatic and down on yourself because you have limited experience with females. Cheer up!

Yeah, I'll feel lonely but personally I just can't do it. Getting a girl to like me is just something really hard for me and I just can't do it. Being ugly doesn't help either. I don't have a limited experience with females, I have no experience. I haven't yet kissed a girl when most of the guys did it at age 12 probably. Once I stop worrying about these things, I'll be stress free. I mean it would be nice to get a girl but I don't have the looks plus I get headaches when I try to approach one.

Everyone experiences rejection. One of the most beautiful girls I know, who gets compliments everywhere she goes, was rejected by a guy she liked for three years. He used her for sex and didn't even respect her enough to keep it private.

Extremely attractive musicians such as Bruno Mars, Drake, and God knows Taylor Swift lol! have been rejected and written songs about it. Rejection doesn't mean that everything is wrong with you. Your purpose on Earth is not to camouflage yourself so that you fit someone's expectations and gain their approval. Not getting what you want the way that you want it, including people you want romantically, is apart of life that you just have to accep and adapt to.

I've lost count to how many times I've tried to be honest. I truly just wanna get it out of my head the idea that I need a female in my life to stay happy. If I continue to have that idea then I'll never be happy. I don't care about any sort of epic party, I just wanna have a calm and peaceful life without any stress or depression.

First of all, them having money and fame makes them a target for self absorbed leeches who just want to manipulate them and use them. Not a thing to desire. Second, despite the reasons you try to come up with to convince yoursel that you have it the worse; there are over 6 billion people on this planet who have felt the exact same thing and overcome this same issue.

You don't need a female to stay happy, but you do need a healthy self-esteem, confidence, and optimism. Without those things, you'll probably internalize a rejection and talk yourself into thinking your romantic future is hopeless and that you have nothing to offer.

No offense, but seriously, you may need to seek a professional therapist who can help you live peacefully with no stress or depresson.

I'm betting 2? You seem to have social anxiety with a mix of low confidence and a dash of nervousness. Put it all together and you are going to get a guy who has failed in his mind before he even started.

It's never worked before and it just won't with me. You don't get it. Women are very picky and on top of that a guy like me will eventually be labeled as "weird" and "creepy". I don't want anything to do with women anymore. You don't get how frustrating it is to expect a girl when you've got nothing going for you. I'm just being realistic here. And I never said women would only date extremely attractive men. It's just that I'm extremely ugly and on top of that I look like an idiot approaching girls when I stutter at times and what not. Women are quite choosy and prefer the best man they can get and I'm far from that for any type of girl. I mean majority of the girls are only attracted to minority number of guys. I'm just not the type of guy any girl would prefer to go out with.

I actually do go to the gym. I have a couple months left off my year membership and I'm obviously looking to renew it soon. Gym is a stress buster.

It's really hard to look and personally I just don't have the patience anymore. I can't bear any more rejections and neglections so it's best I just remove the thought of even being close to one. Plus I'm quite emotional so it gets the best of me and I have a bad case of depression.

I've thought about that myself. I am almost 28 and really haven't tried in about 2 years till recently. It is hard, the rejection sucks. You would really accomplish a lot if your depression didn't get the best of you. But it's hard to imagine living your whole life without sharing it with someone. I guess that's where the phrase "Women; can't live with them, and you can't live without them.

I have been enjoying my young ages without a woman without really attracting women. The only reason I asked this was because as I'll get older, all my friends will eventually get married and have kids. I wouldn't know what to do then and how to continue being happy.
