Why are all cheerleaders superficial?

all the cheerleaders I've ever met are very superficial. They don't date anyone who isn't an athlete or very rich. If your not one of those, they'll hardly even talk to you unless you bring them cookies or something.

Growing up ALL the cheerleaders in my high school did absolutely NOTHING for geeks, nerds, unpopular people. They weren't even nice, all of them were complete stuck up bitches. I hate how beautiful people take advantage of the gift of being pretty and don't use it for the greater good.

This is why I don't like cheerleaders. I'll talk to them, but inside I don't have much respect for them unless they give it. For once.

Dancers are better anyway.

Dude, I can see what you mean, but you're being a little bit too general, don't ya think? Sure, there are some cheerleaders that I can't stand at my school, one of them I had a crush on last year and she, well, let's just say she wasn't very nice...at all... However, there are some cheerleaders I am friends with, and they've been cheering their whole lives. They simply enjoy it. Going back to those cheerleaders that I can't stand, the ones that fit your generalization, I think they do it just to get attention, and some of those girls can't cheer worth squat. They joined right around freshman year, not that that means anything though.

I haven't met one cheerleader that isn't stuck up and will be open to anyone, very non judgmental. Until I meet one, I'm a believer that there might be very few cheerleaders like her... liiiike 1/100 that I have known personally in my life.

well, f***. I guess my school was the exception. My sister was a cheer leader n' she did volunteering. Every Thursday the cheerleaders would hold breakfasts for the rest of the school. Ya, it was a fundraiser but they were nice. Course, some of them were snotty bitches. But there were was pretty cook ones too.

As an ex cheerleader yeah some of those girls are the meanest, most cruel, dumb bimbos alive but others are the nicest most kind hearted people :) It just takes one counter example to see that not all cheerleaders are bad people.

Your high school seems to be something out of the movies..in middle school girls seem to be especially cut throat but by High School especially those later years..people seem to pacify.

Maybe the try outs for your high school squad isn't about toe touches and hand springs but being superficial and mean

actually I'm in college. Tho I've only met two cheerleaders, it's because I brought them cookies (I didn't know they were cheerleaders when I brought them). Oh ya, the cheerleaders I grew up with were all stuck up ****s.

They're not all superficial, actually. I've known plenty of cheerleaders who were very nice, and quite intelligent. Some of them aren't as fun to be around, but that's not a result of them being cheerleaders.

No, those specific people are found to be "guilty" once you interact with them. You shouldn't assume things about others who you've never talked to. You have no good reason to believe something you don't have any proof for.

But I suppose you're going to continue doing so, anyway, so I'll simply leave it at that.

They have always been that way since the beginning. Lets say for example, you go climbing. You fall and break a leg. You might think, "I hate climbing, its not for me". Even though every rock climbing wall is different, you still don't want to climb. Just that, but with cheerleaders.

Uh, our cheerleaders aren't like that at all. Actually, no one really wants to date them because they're kinda trashy. And very un-talented. But at my school, people weren't classified as jocks, and cheerleaders, and popular kids and all that crap. If you played a sport, that's cool, but no one really cares.

My ex was a cheerleader and she was nice as hell too.

I'm more than happy to not be involved with them. However, seeing that I'm still in school means I have to put up with them one way or another. I don't like to ask questions about them, when I know all I'll get is sh*t thrown in my face because I'm not an athlete for the school.
