I like this girl I met a few months ago. We have the same f***ed up sense of humor, we listen to all types of music, we both read a lot and so on. But I didn't want to try and ask her the question TM until I am sure so as to not ruin our friendship. And quite frankly, I've never had a girlfriend before and would find it quite hard to build up the confidence to ask someone something like that.
The thing is I'm terrible at reading signals. I haven't seen her a lot with her closer male friends, but I don't think she acts the same way with them. We normally joke and tease each other and give mock slaps or punches and we tickle each other. But I thought that couldn't signify that much. Then the other evening when we walked from the park to the bench before my apartment block, we sat down. She said she was sleepy and I sort of pushed the side of her head to me as a joke and she lay on my shoulder. And then I curled my fingers around hers and we sat like this for maybe half an hour. Then we were walking in the town center (it was 2 AM) and when we sat down at the gazebo we held hands again. When I walked her home I hugged her by the waist and brought her body close to mine and she hugged me closely too, though by the shoulder blades. I may seem egregiously thick at this point, but I just want to be sure I'm not misinterpreting something. The next time we go out alone I think I'll ask her if she likes me and wants to be my girlfriend, although I don't know exactly when and how (should it be when I walk her home?).
This got kind of long and I would understand anyone who wouldn't bother reading. :D

oh for some reason, it says I'm 25 years old. I probably made that account some time ago and lied. :D I'm almost 18.
