Why do some women act coy?

I have seen in certain cultures that women act very coy and shy and I do not understand it.

Hmm the checklist they were taught or instilled by their mothers or close relatives

Checklist often include red flags. The more flags you strike the further they feel attracted no matter how good you look

May have had or or more bad experiences.

If they are older then it is often a sign of independence.

It's part of many cultures for woman to be serious or not flirtatious so they won't be branded as sluts or easy. That would bring great shame to their families. which is totally taboos if you ask me.

this is their personality but you might wonder why most of people who act shy are females ?

well its all coming back to their genetic factors.

you do not find any civilization where most males act shyer than females do. but its still personality can be built. so not all females are shy or coy despite their genetic factors.

i grew up in Europe so woth te western culture and being shy is just part of my personality
