Is it a bad sign of a girl only wants to meet during the day and other things?

I met a girl, we talked and I got her number. She agreed to have lunch with me, and set up a place and time. She then said she wanted to bring a girlfriend along. We had a great time. We later had dinner again and another great time.

After this, I have been asking her out and she has not been replying. Eventually...she said she does not want to go out at night with someone she does not know. Then, as we were talking about cooking together and she seemed very interested in that, I offered to cook a meal at my house. She declined saying she does not want to go over another person's.

Are these things I should feel concerned about? Or are they things normal for a girl when meeting a new guy? Is she not that interested in me? I have never experienced this before so I think it may be our age difference. I am 27 and she is about to turn 21.

Personally, I get these feelings when I first meet a new guy and I don't know them very well. A lot of it is for my own protection. I'm small and it wouldn't take much for a male to force me down. I don't go to that extreme though, I just make sure we meet in public the first couple of dates and then go from there depending on my own comfort level.

It sounds like she may have been attacked by someone or has known someone that was attacked in the past, (but I could be completely wrong). I don't think it's because she's uninterested. If she were uninterested she wouldn't act interested at all.

I would ask her if something has happened to make her so uncomfortable. Obviously ask her gently, if she has been attacked in the past it may be a very sensitive subject for her.

I think she's either scared or perhaps she isn't interested in you in a sexual or romantic way
