Why does she act weird around me?

Theres this girl I kinda like which is very friendly (a bit shy with new people) but friendly nonetheless. I have known her for months now and I have noticed that she is very relaxed and open with everybody she knows, she laughs and jokes, compliments them etc.

I have noticed that, even though she knows me, she still seems nervous when I talk to her, when I make her smile/laugh she never looks at me, just looks down. You may say "oh she just doesn't know you well" but the thing is that she is so "comfortable" calling me names, teasing me and being a smartass (this is somethingshe doesn't do with anybody else) that its hard to believe she is just "shy" with me,

I love talking to her and its like we have this weird connection where we know what the other will say or react to certain statements that we say/do them and sure enough, we got that reaction. SHe can be very stubborn with me, while she is easy going with others. I could assume she doesn't like me at all, but we talk all the time we are together, so what is up with her?

It sounds like she likes you. but you probably have already gotten that sense.

You disarm her. Looking away, nervousness, defensiveness, etc.

Essentially you are a person who can make her feel insecure. That's because she has feelings everything you do touches her a little more personally than others. It's not to say you're mean or that she is overly sensitive she just in a compromised position.

If you like her next time you she seems nervous or looks away or acts stubborn just smile and make eye contact. This will help her know that you know how she is feeling but you're supportive of her nonetheless

Yah, this sounds familiar. It sounds like she might just like you back. The key is in how she's behaving that little bit differently with you and picking on you a bit. Plus the getting nervous when you talk to her.
