So after reading a few articles like this one apparently women find taken men more attractive because "When a man is chosen as potential partner by someone, it tends to mean he is “higher quality” than all the other dudes who are single. Clearly, he has some endearing qualities that appealed to his girlfriend, which makes other women around take notice and want to be with him as well."

This article quotes from a study: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-018-19770-8 which finds that men who have girlfriends receive something called an “attractiveness boost” and are suddenly perceived as hotter than they’d normally be.

“Women in our study found men’s faces more attractive if other women had given that face high ratings. But the same goes for pictures of abstract artworks... Women appear to copy the mate preferences of other women, but this might simply be because humans have a general tendency to be influenced by the opinions of others.”

So in any case, girls have you found taken men more attractive than single men? And guys have you noticed women noticing you more when you are taken?

I gotta say that in my last relationship i definitely noticed women being friendlier with me. i don't know if thats attraction or maybe im 'safer' to talk to now? i dunno man lol. human behavior is interesting and confusing at the same time.

Keep in mind im just talking about attraction. im not talking about if you'd actually do anything about the attraction such as cheating or something. JUST attraction.

What's up with this posture lol

So we're both 17, very close friend, she is very shy, we go home together almost every day, now she wants me come with her in the mornings too cuz we get in the same bus.

So, when we first met 3 years ago, she used to touch my shoulder every time she told me something, pulled my backpack to let me know she was there. She also fell on me by accident quite a lot. We were awkward at that stage and she once talked about exs to let me know she never dated, then asked if sb in my old class was my girlfriend (she wasn't). She also tried taking a selfie of us just as she said she doesn't have enough storage and hugged me when I was down. She also threw a surprise party on my bday.

One year passed. We could now talk about anything. This time, she was more confident and also shared more info about herself. She stopped bumping into me, pulling my backpack. Now, she was twirling her hair or playing with her straps when she saw me. She also pretended not to see me when walking close to me but slowed down a lot until I reached her to go: "Oh, hi!". She got me an eclair for my bday.

Yet another year went by. She is always very interested in my well being, always over-apologizing. She once did something bad after I helped her and went 2 hours over her bedtime texting to make sure everything was ok. After I said that I was happy to have spent the day with her and that life is about choosing what makes you happy, she texted "If life is about choices", "You chose well 🙃".

She is curious about my past. When she sits next to me, her legs are crossed, one of them towards me, wiggling it. Her head on her arm resting on that leg. When we're together, we're close enough for our hands to touch and she always compliments me saying "You're very smart" or "You're really mature compared to me". Recently, she got all hyped up (blushing, asking if she can tell her family, smiling a lot) when I told her about sb in love thinking it was me to then go nothing u can do when I told her it's a friend.

Hi Everyone,

So, it is about one colleague. We are friends in college and I have noticed that she has been very touchy with me. Like, she would keep touching for just about any reason. She isn't like this with any other guy.

Just yesterday, she told me that I am a little frog, and she would need to kiss me. So, that I can be converted back to a proper human🤨. It's weird I know.

Also, she keeps asking me, my choices.

How does it feel when you see / meet or are around a man that's just your height or shorter than you?

Everyone knows that women are forced to date unattractive men all the time. Hence im not interested in any `ooh i dated a guy that was 5'7`. What height is required to be the first choice for the ladies. No settling.

Women are rewarded for poor decision making. Such as posting promiscuous photos online. Women get more attention by being a bad woman, the type of women no man wants to commit too.

Men should stop doing this agree?

Her motive for saying that would be? I know every girl is different, but In a general sense, what do you think her motive for that would be?

Back story: There’s this girl that I’ve been crushing on for a while. When we first met I was sure she was interested but I kinda let things die down; I used to reply late then she got petty and it became this toxic thing of who can reply later till it died (my fault I know). Fast forward to current day I’m 90% sure she knows I like her (damn near obsessed even) and now I’m really trying to apply pressure to get her or at least get closer to her.
. I sent her a voice note talking about how we should have a “light catch up” and that I’ve been thinking about her during the summer and stuff. She’s down to meet up this week but over text she seems kinda disinterested and takes a whole day to reply even though I’m replying in due time.
. Should I take this as test? Should I tolerate it because I was the one that was fumbling since and she’s getting back at me? And if so how long? Or should I simply take it as signs she’s not interested? A lot more could be said about the whole timeline but this is a summary.
