The most important thing is your physical attributes. That will get you noticed and in the door every time. You won't keep women with only looks, but you will get them. They tend to like guys that are tall, have broad shoulders, whom are muscular with large chests and arms (biceps/forearms), etc. A deep voice will have them throwing their panties at you. They all have some sort of hair preference (different girls go for different styles), they generally like clean straight teeth, they often prefer blue or green eyes, they often like a little scruff and stuff like that. They'll lie and say it's about personality, but personality is only important once you are attractive enough.

I’m a 29 year old woman and the most important traits to me are:

1. Kind
2. Trustworthy
3. Intelligent
4. Funny
5. Physical Attraction - looks fade over time and therefore do not matter as much as the top 4. If physical attraction takes priority over the top 4, then that is a maturity issue on the woman’s part in my opinion.

However, for me, it’s a must. If you don’t have a sense of humor, we will not get along.

Not true at all! Women will tell you many times, "he has to be able to make me laugh, that's important" And this is true. But the most important trait in a man for a woman is and will always be  does she find him physically attractive.  Chris Farley was one of the funniest guys on the planet he couldn't get a woman to save his life.
