all people look better with hair, you find a handsome bald man and think he's handsome and then when you see a photo of him with hair you're like wtf! and you suddenly don't view him as handsome anymore because he looked better with hair. so you see it won't matter unless you place it side by side most times. some people are just not attractive with or without hair lol and then you have the rare very rare occasions when the person actually looks better bald.

another thing for reference I used to think that all bald people were gangster and that they did it on purpose to look like thugs, so that automatically made me NOT like bald guys. Now as I'm older I understand that that's not always the case so if there's people who think like I used to, they may judge and find the person unattractive right off the bat, not because they're bald but because they associate it with something negative.

It all depends on his personality. If he is out going, gregarious, real people person, then they don't look at the missing hair so much. His personality makes up for it.

Maybe for you it's bullshit and that's too bad for you. But two months ago someone (my boyfriend ) I fell very deep in love with at one time was bald died.

Ah ok! Yeah it obviously robs the youthful charm. But then if you have lost hair then what can be done.
As a young woman what would you suggest/prefer for a guy who has lost most of the head hair? Wig? Hair transplant? Or keep it closely buzzed?

Most women it's not a big deal. But there's always going to be those women that got a thing for hair. So just avoid those women.
