A few months ago, I was at the drive-thru window at Panda Express. There was a young girl who, to me, was incredibly beautiful. I was agog and speechless with my mouth open. I was stunned like a deer in headlights and was, in a sense, paralyzed. What little sanity I had left in my mind said to me "Dude! Say something!" ... as in paying for the order. All I could muster is "Oh my God, you are beautiful!" Here I am feeling like a dirty old man - this girl was in her early 20s at most, possibly high school (it was a Saturday) and I could have been her grandfather. I had never done something like that before outside of being under or in the wake of anesthesia.

She thanked me and then asked me questions about my order but it all went in one ear and out the other. I paid and got the meal and gave it to my wife when I got home. She got on my case because the order was slightly messed up - it wasn't Panda Express's fault, it was mine because I didn't listen to the girl. Ultimately, I told my wife what happened and she just laughed.

One time, I was coming out of surgery - I think hernia surgery - and the nurse in scrubs and a mask was looking down at me. I was still in that odd but pleasant state like being tipsy. I could hardly see her face, but I could see her eyes, so, in my uninhibited tipsy state quietly said "You're beautiful!".

Another time, I was going into surgery - I think for my colonoscopy, not sure - and, as the drugs were kicking in and they started wheeling me down the corridor, I turned my head to see the back of a nurse's head; she was wearing a ponytail. I thought "She's prett..." then, *BOOM*, complete blackness until I woke up in recovery.
