I am a confident guy but nr 2 is a bit too much especially if girl asks going out with her friends only at 12 midnight. If it is a common thing I break up with her, I never join her or ask her to go with her anyway. The risk is always there that she may end up fucking another guy, may get drunked, may be raped forced whatever. I see no problem with me being worried about my girl's well being. If she finds that clingy, we better go separate ways
a girl who really loved you, wouldn't do something that saddens you in the first place. she is not bachelor, why go alone clubbing with her friends late night? thats suspicious and insulting to the man... .
@levantine99 Yes exactly, this is why I oppose point 2 in this take. I don't see it as clingy, but caring. A guy like me gets in a relationship only if I truly like/love and care for the girl, and if I care about her I can't image what may happen to her alone in a party at night... She may love me so much but still some drinks and some pushing from some slut friend or another guy may molest her anything can happen. If she thinks of me worrying about her as clingy then she doesn't deserve me! Clingy is only if I want to be with her all the time, middle of day, when she is shopping with friends etc.. But clingy isn't if I am worried about her going to midnight parties, or going to other country with her female friends alone. Being confident doesn't mean non being worried and jealous. If a guy isn't jealous doesn't mean he is confident, it means he doesn't care! (as a guy I know this very well because of me and my friends behaviours too). I don't know. I do one three four and five and it works pretty well for me.
I'd say 1, 3, 4, 5 annoy a woman. 2 dampens her attraction. So 2 is the actual dealbreaker.
In particular, it's hard to balance 2 and 3, which is guys who do 3 tend to have better success.
