Why does he seem nervous when he talks to me?

There's this guy that every time we're talking he's always fidgeting and seems nervous. Today I was staring at something in the ground and he moved next to where I was staring I'm guessing because I wasn't looking at him. Does he like me? How can I tell if he likes me? It's really hard to tell because he's really friendly to everyone, but yet he doesn't fidget when he talks to other girls.

There's a very good evolutionary theory as to why this is. The theory states that eons ago when humans lived in 40 to 50 person societies that if a man from another tribe joined a new society and met a woman he was attracted to and she rejected him, that he would immediately be seen as a "low value male" to every other female in the group. Cave women "gossiped" just like modern women do, so even the women who did not "witness" the rejection would be sure to hear about it, then that guy would be cock-blocked for the duration of his time with that group. That fear is present in the modern men of toady.

In addition, in a 40 to 50 person society if a new male member flirted with another male's mate, he could be beaten or killed by the jealous male, and that male's friends. Back then cavemen used stones, spears, and clubs to brutally beat rival males to death. Life was short, so a caveman's morality was much different than most modern mens' morality today. It was also because life was short that there were no "police" in early Paleolithic societies. Every time a man went out hunting, he risked being mauled, bitten, trampled, or gored to death by the animal he was hunting. So it was nothing to kill another man who was trying to "mate poach" him by moving in on his woman. So the fear of being physically attacked by another man also makes "modern men" nervous. Go figure that if a woman is attractive, there is a good chance she has a boyfriend or husband. So you can't blame men for being nervous.

He looks nervous because he's nervous and unless you're about to tell him off or he owes you money, why else would he be nervous? I'm not too sure about him moving where you were staring, maybe coincidence, maybe a bit weird, not too sure but if you like the guy, just tell him.

If he's not interested, what have you lost? If he is, you could go for a coffee or something and you never know where it could lead. :)

I only get nervous when I'm talking to girls I like so if he's like me ya he's probably does. I can talk to any other girl without being nervous and am very talkative. But if a girl I like is in a college class I will probably flirt with every girl but her and I am too shy to ask a girl out or for her number if I like them. So if he's like me you have an admirer.
