What does it mean when a guy looks at you weirdly?

We were on a field trip, and sat on a bus. I talked to his friend beside him and after, my best friend who sat beside me said that my crush looked at me weirdly. She also said that he looked at me for 3-5 seconds straight when I was talking to his friend beside him. Does he think im weird?

I have only talked to him once, and sometimes, some of his friends would give me clues that he likes me for example saying that we look good together, and telling me that he looks back at me when I walk by him.. Im not sure if he actually likes me , since we have only talked once?
