When guys ask you a lot of personal questions?

Whether in person, FB, texting... when a guy is asking a lot of questions about you, what does that generally mean? What does he want?
I have this situation right now, one who asks me a lot of questions in person and one who constantly asks me stuff about me over text.

Some guys are just really curious. A lot of times though it would be an indication of early interest. It may not mean they are interested in pursuing a relationship or anything like that, but it could mean they have thought about it. It can mean a guy is trying to find out if you fit what he is looking for. It can mean that the guy already likes you and is asking about you so that he can try to adjust some of his behaviour to act in a way that he thinks will increase his chances with you.

Quite a few different things it could mean, but most indicate an initial level of some kind of interest. How he is with other girls could help determine if he is just a curious sort in general.

It depends. Some people are being nosy and others really wanna get to know you better. If you don’t feel comfortable answering a question respectfully express that you don’t really want to answer that question and when you get to know each other better maybe you can talk about these things.

I'm asked personal questions about my sex life and other things I don't believe are any of the guy's business unless we're close and 9 times out of 10 I don't know him and I'm not even interested in him... I feel like the guy figures he's interested I should reciprocate and I'm less thrilled by the assumption.

Depends on what your relationship is with that person. Either guys feel comfortable or stalking, but if you ask him personal questions and he obliges he is just comfortable with him. You can choose not to answer and he should know where his line is being crossed.

Means he is interested in you and wants to know you better as a person. So, he can better figure out what type of person you really are. For example, you kind of told on yourself within this post.

You are talking to two guys at the same time... one in IRL and one through text. Guys in general know when they are not the only guy... they can't prove it of course but we know or at least suspect it. So, before we even want to really try, we want to know what type of person you are... because you're talking to multiple guys.
