i always been self conscious about m body every since i was like 13 or 14 i picked up weight a lot of weight when i came to high school my family is a very small petite family then you have me a curvy full figured girl i had very low self esteem about my weight until i lost my v card and thought well this guy like it so more probably do and after i used to get hi on a lot saying your a big pretty girl etc and i mean it did boost my self esteem but i still hate being called bi but i did learn to embrace who i am but do men like curvy women if not why?

I think your body type is fine, it just depends on how you wear it, the woman in the link knows how to dress. Men are all different and there are plenty of men out there who like women who are that shape. If a man really wants to be with you he shouldn't care about how your body looks.

First of all, fat doesn't mean curvy. Curvy is when you have boobs, ass, and a good hip/waist ratio, but not when you're fat. Please people, stop trying to make the term fat be the same as the term curvy, because it's not the same.

So, most men do like curvy women, but most men do not like fat women.

You are making a common mistake in your word usage:

curvy in its adjective form accurately refers to:

"when you have boobs, ass, and a good hip/waist ratio"

However,

A Curvy (noun form) refers to women that possess the body type identified by that label.

More precisely:

"when your hips is bigger then your waist and you have a big bust size with a tummy"

It is entirely possible that a woman is curvy while at the same time not being a Curvy.

It may be the case that for you, any woman with a body mass index above a given percentage is simply fat. For men that are attracted to, date and marry these women, the term 'fat' is considered insulting and rude.

Instead there is a hierarchy of labels given to women at various levels of obesity. After all, men in all things are VERY specific about what they want.

Curvy is the name given to the lowest level (size wise) in the hierarchy. This label association was established many years before you were even born.

You still don't understand that a skinny girl can be curvy too. The picture I showed you is a clear example of a curvy girl with flat stomach, ergo, a skinny curvy girl. She may not have big boobs, but she still has a decent size. Also, her hips are bigger than her waist, and even though you can't see her ass, you can tell she has a fit one.
She is curvaceous, but you it seems you and I have a different opinion on what a curvy woman is.

@gray_sailor @asker Fat is when your body mass index is higher than the recommended. It can be insulting, but it's not my fault you're fat. That's the word it's given to that type of people, and that's how they should be described, just like we describe people with lower BMI's as skinny.

@asker the examples you gave are of 2 fat women. Yes, they're curvy, but that doesn't mean they're not fat. And to answer your question again: most men do not like fat women.

Begining at the smallest size:

Curvy
Chubby
Plump
Big Beautiful Woman (BBW)
Super Big Beautiful Woman (SBBW)
Super Super Big Beautiful Woman (SSBBW)

The problem with the word fat is that it is inadequately descriptive & insufficiently specific.

When I met my wife, she was a BBW. She identified herself as such in her online profile. We married 9 years ago this June. Since we married, she has lost 175 lbs. Consequently, she is no longer a BBW, she is now a Curvy. These are not matters of dispute.

The fact that you find all these differently sized women to be unhealthy/unattractive does not empower you to revoke the labels they use (and have used for many years) to self identify.

What is frustrating here, is that the asker is not making up her own definitions.

The definition she is using has existed for years, at least as long as you have been alive.

The problem goes back to word usage.

If you say a woman looks curvy, you are fine.
If you say a woman has curves, that is fine.
If you say a woman had a curvy body, you are still fine.

Those are all adjective usages.

There is also a noun usage.

A woman that is a Curvy (I capitalize to distinguish from the adjective form) is a member of a defined group of women who all have a large bust,

Never said they were nasty. I said to the other responder that the category label of Curvy exists (along with other similar labels) because men like myself use these labels to refer to the women we like.

We do not refer to these women as fat or obese because we regard it as rude to talk of someone you care for that way.

The responder argued that of course fat people are fat and he wanted his word curvy back to use as he chose. I let him know he could claim the adjective form of curvy for himself, but that the noun form Curvy belonged to other people.
