I am a virgin and been dating a guy for two weeks. I always thought "blue balls" was a myth. People expert in tantric sex can long periods of intimacy without ejaculation. I have been highly aroused with no orgasm and had to allow the arousal to dissipate but that could be done without any release. I thought "blue balls" was the need to ejaculate to relieve pressure.

While not a tantric expert, I have 'edged' before... and not gotten blue balls. A few other times prolonged arousal HAS given me blue balls. it's rare, but I've gotten it, painfully.

I have no idea why in one case and not the other, or what the drivers are.

Yes I have and its a combination of things, how long its been since I last ejaculated (even with no sexual stimuli at all, after week or two it starts to get pretty damn uncomfortable to to the build up).
