Why does my bf goes offline on WhatsApp when I get online?

Lol, so we love each other and he often contacts me. But there's time I log on Whatsapp and he quickly goes offline. Also I know he doesn't use Whats App a lot, because he takes hours to get online, and usually when your speaking to someone is a online and offline pattern with time being close to where you was last online. I know he only has it for me to see if I had been online, as if his Whatsapp is on my page, he instantly know when I'm online. Buy why does he goes offline when I'm online? He don't do this all the time, but there's time I've caught it before.

Maybe he's jst trying to check if you're going online. Or he could be doing something shady like chatting with other girls and doesn't want you to know.
