Guys, He kissed me on the stomach. What is the meaning to this?

I was relaxing with my boyfriend the other night and lying on his bed watching TV. I had on leggings and a top, he pulled my top up a bit and kissed my stomach twice.
We are sexually active however it didn't come across as sexual or like he was instigating anything.

I thought this was unusual to randomly do - it felt very intimate.

Any ideas why he did this?

Because he felt like it.. I get weird non-sexual urges with my girlfriend sometimes, just the feel or smell of her skin or massage her head.. go with it :)
