Guys, what does it mean when a guy indescreetly checks you out?

There's this guy who makes it very obvious that he checks me out. It's like whenever me make eye contact he looks down at my body and up again, and he's letting me know that he's checking me out. What does that mean?
I personally get a bit uncomfortable, but is it meant as a compliment?

When a guy is checking you out whether or not it's discreet, this means that they find you attractive, to start off with.

Now when a guy makes it discreet, subconsciously it signifies that he's staying in the comfort zone, under the radar which reflect qualities of tad insecurities (maybe to avoid being seen as creepy as the most common).

However when a guy makes a bold move and scopes you right in front of your eyes, letting you know that he fancies you, this signifies that he has a rather strong confidence and ego. He has no insecurities and he shines himself out to you which may mean he's got nothing to lose and he is positive he'd be able to get with you.

Overall for your concern, this means that you have gotten him excited and you have caught his attention. Congrats.

I wouldn't say that exactly. More of an appreciation or an invitation. It definitely means he doesn't care if you see him looking and wants see how you will react. He could just want to embarrass you. That makes some guys feel powerful.

I did, and he said yes but we never set a date, because all of the sudden he stopped texting me (we'd been texting for a few weeks, but even before we had ever talked he blatantly checked me out)... Either he lost interest, or he just wanted sex
