Guys, what do you think if a girl has big hands?

What if her hands are same size or bigger than yours?
I am tall and most if not all guys I have been with have commented on the fact that my hands are big. It makes me self conscious.
They are still feminine looking (guys typically have broader hands) and great for the piano. But when a guy wants to high-5 me or do something else that will make it obvious I have big hands I do it but I get a self conscious about it.

Try not to think about it too much. You are built the way you are built and there's not much you can do about it. I'm making the assumption that you're fairly young, and so I would say just wait and you'll see as you get older and are spending time with men rather than boys ( but note that age doesn't make a man, maturity does ) you'll find that they don't care about this sort of thing. Any guy who pokes fun at the size of your hands is probably just self conscious about himself. I myself have just the opposite issue - I'm a guy with very small hands, and also an avid dancer, which means I'm holding hands very often and so I get quite a lot of comments from the ladies about their size. It used to bother me and I was self conscious about it, but eventually I realized there's nothing I can do, and they are good strong hands anyways so no sense in stressing about it. I just laugh along with all the jokes.

Thanks for your opinion. No I'm not that young. Just broke up from a long relationship and out there again and feeling insecure about it all and this is something that always bothered me.

You don't need to worry at all. If guys are telling you these things you should actually be happy. Instead of investing a lot of time in friend-/relationships with insecure men who always put their ego's first. You can easily just move on and find actual catches who treats you like a person deserves to be treated. The only problem which actually exists is in their own heads. After all it's just hands anyways. ;) If anything, big hands are a gift. Close to only positive things about it.

Just a note...
How come they are so surprised over your hands being big when you are tall? Isn't that pretty obvious?

As a guy with tiny fingers and big palms, most hands are either the same size as mine or bigger. I've never found that hand size comes up as an issue anywhere except that one episode of Seinfeld, and I've never had an issue with anyone else's hand size.

tl;dr : Don't worry about it, I can't think of anyone who's found issue with a girl's hand size.

Thanks. for your answer. It is just embarressing when a guy says "god look at your hands" and then wants to measure against his and then says how big my hands are. Think most girls have smaller hands than most guys so probably not that common

They mean it as a compliment, plus guys don't really care about how big or small her hands are. All we care about is how she'll hold onto us when we need her

Male friends and female friends are different
If a guy is friends with u he will compliment u in a masculine way, for example "wow u r strong" instead of saying "you have a good grip"

Not sure I get what you mean... he hasn't said it is good or bad. But it isn't like "wow your legs are long" which is something that men are renowned for liking so that is like a compliment. But "wow your hands are big" doesn't feel like a compliment as I haven't heard anyone say guys love women to have big hands.

There is literally no reason to be self conscious about such a petty thing, most men will not notice yr hands and those who do will be blunt about it if they don't like them
As u put it, they are not manly and I m sure they aren't because if they were u would have had at least one man who told u that
