in my opinion I do not think that one means anything different than the other. but I have always said goodnight instead of night. mainly because I kind of think that saying night instead of goodnight makes it seem like I'm in a rush to get off the phone or to get out of there, and I don't want to make it feel like that's what's going on, when I'm simply trying to say have a good night.
i hope this helped.

There's no difference. night/goodnight isn't the same as bye/goodbye.
night/goodnight is just how some individuals prefer saying it.
i think ur worrying wayyyyyy too much over the difference between goodnight and night. there just saying good night lol that's like asking what is the difference between hi and hey
Nyt means ur just forcing urself to say it while goodnight means itsso sweet someone saying to you good night.
Makes me think they are in a rush & don't want to talk w you any more. Maybe it's me just over thinking it..😁

lol, there isn't really a difference. I wouldn't think too much about it if I were you.
No ,, it just a lazy way to say goodnight. It the same with a lot of things.. like bro. Ye. . We use contractions all the time , it tends to loose the real meaning of what is said !!!
No.
I doubt it
I don't think so
