I looked just like this picture as a child, except I had a darker blonde hair color.

I worry that my fiance (because his hair is dark) will prevent me from having this :P
There's still a chance, genetically, but it certainly is lower.

My mom is blonde with blue eyes, my dad is a brunette with dark brown eyes, and they had 3 girls. I have blonde hair and blue eyes, the middle has dark hair and dark brown eyes, and the youngest has blonde-brown (I don't know what you'd call it, but it's the perfect in between shade) hair and hazel eyes.

My partner has brown hair but beautiful green eyes, so I'm sure our child will have lovely eyes (at least I hope so! :P)

Either way, I'll love my child and think he/she is beautiful no matter what. And I'd never try to make him/her look like something they are not (I know there are crazy women out there who actually dye their young child's hair and make them wear contacts... insane, if you ask me)

But I'd be lying if I didn't say I had a preference.

Honestly, genetics are such a mixed bag. I dunno what my children will look like, but I know they'll be adorable because they'll be mine.

My man is a green-eyed brown-haired snow-white Scandinavian man and I'm a brown-eyed brown-haired American black woman. That's a pretty wide spectrum. Our babies could come out looking totally like me, totally like him or perhaps even the spitting image of our parents. It doesn't really matter.
