Is there really a significant height difference between 6' and 6'2?

The guy on the left is 6' and the one on the right is 6'2. I'm asking this question because so many women don't even know the actual height of the guys they're dating, and many people (if not most) exaggerate their height. Don't you believe height has become a stereotype of sorts and women only date men who look tall but are not necessarily tall?

A lot of women don't seem to know what they are talking about when it comes to a man's height. I know lots of women that think any guy under under six feet tall is short. The average height of a man in the united states is five foot ten. Fifty percent of men are shorter than that, yet these women think that a guy has to be above average in order to be average. I have had several women add a couple of inches to my height when they were trying to guess it as well. Maybe this is because so many guys lie about their height.

But as far as I know, you've to nitpick if you really want to see the two inch difference. 5'11 and anything over is tall, from 6' its only a matter of taller. 6' is a good height to be, everything fits just right. To actually notice a significant height difference, I thing 6'4 guy can compare but 6'2 is really within range.

I think that it's more difficult to guess the exact height. I know my partner's 6'0 because I've been there when he's been measured, but I doubt I'd have known exactly how tall he was unless I'd seen it myself. I would have said he was a few inches shorter because he slouches, so when he stands up to his full height, it kinda surprises me. I think that the difference between an inch in height isn't necessarily an obvious thing, y'know? Especially if the man carries himself very straight-backed or very slouched over.

Maybe we are able to see it when they're next to each other and we do see if the guy is taller than us or not, but then still, who cares. It's not like either of them is a midget. *no offence to midgets*

Yes, there's definitely a difference. Whether that difference is SIGNIFICANT or not depends solely on the woman's outlook/preferences. Some women will be more attracted to those extra 2 inches, whereas a woman who doesn't really care isn't going to pay much attention to it.

Ok... the REAL truth is women can't tell the difference. Why? Because guys have been telling girls all throughout history that this is 6" (holding thumb and forefinger an actual 3"apart). Women, being the trusting, caring souls they are, have believed this. Therefore, women have an enormously impossible time when it comes to judging ANY distance. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Honestly I don't think the difference is that significant but if you compare the thickness of the soles of their shoes you will notice that the "shorter" one is working with tricks to appear taller than he is 😂

But to get to the main point, as a 5'10" person, the only thing I really care about is to choose someone who's not so short that it will give me back pain but not so tall that it would give him or her back pain (unless he or she doesn't mind getting back pain from being so much taller than me lol if they don't mind, I don't mind).

There is a visible difference between 6 and 6'2, mainly at the eye line. An ugly 6'2 is never going to beat an attractive 6 though.

I'm 6'4" and I don't ever remember having any conversation that touches on this.
Perhaps after a certain height the point becomes moot, and you just say "My boyfriend is really tall".
