What does it mean when a guy touches a girl's knee?

We have been friends though Facebook for about 3 months. We exchanged messages and chatted through the net. We also send text messages with each other.. He is working abroad.. Eventually, we decided to meet personally.. On our first meeting, we had lunch together and then we went to watch a movie.. The lights were still on and advertisements were shown since the movie was still going to start.. We were talking then he touched my knee for about a few seconds.. What does that mean?..

It really depends on how he touched it. Did he rub his thumb across and give a little squeeze? That could be a good sign that he is attracted to you. However, if it was just placed there lightly or he patted it, he probably was just being friendly.
