How can you tell if a guy's nervous when you're talking?

Like if you two are flirting and such, how can you tell that he' nervous?

\/ My comment: well then he's pretty nervous lol. You said he occasionally at you but mainly looks down, this is a sign of inferiority in a sense. He thinks your beautiful so he wants to look at you but is afraid you will not like him in that way, or might think his weird for staring. So anytime he feels that you are noticing him staring he looks at the ground as a security blanket . he just does want you to see/ judge him negatively.

Aww omg. that's adorable. he's so cute. he's got such an amazing smile. so could it mean he's shy? cause I gave him an opportunity to ask for my number but he didn't take it. I was like tell me next time you're here! and he just looked down and smiled and was like "haha okay."

Usually eye contact is the big one. When I'm talking with a girl and am nervous, I will struggle with this. Ill make eye contact for a few seconds, then look away, either at the ground or straight ahead. I try really hard to avoid doing this but its something that just naturally happens with me and I don't always think about fixing these things over the course of the conversation because I'm too nervous

when I'm nervous I get really quiet and sometimes shake a little. but some people show their nervousness in different ways. some people like me get really quiet while others don't stop talking and stumble over their words. so it really depends on the person.

He'll avoid eye contact but won't look at your body. Like he'll look down at the floor or at something behind you. A key indicator is his hands. He'll look at them, or constantly move them. I hope that helped

but he did look in my face sometimes. but mostly he did look down and at his hands and stuff.

Yeah, looking down, awkward silences, stuttering, lots of "hmmm, emmm"s, body crouching inwards, tapping on the floor with his foot, touching its hands a lot, hands in pockets, dry mouth, shacky voice :P

um. he looked at me for a few seconds or so and then down again.

and he smiled a lot. like a little smile. mostly he was joking around probably trying to make me laugh. and laughing a little laugh. not like a normal one. so is there a "nervous laugh" that guys have?

yea he's shy. He was like me in many cases. Just stick with him. He's probably worth it :-)
