They watch movies or play video games, generally. If they talk, then it might be about sports, video games, cars, girls. But their conversations aren't like our conversations.
Case in point: Two of my friends hooked up on a trip, I talked to the girl and we talked about whether or not she liked him, wanted to continue this as a ldr past the trip, etc. We had a really long in depth conversation that lasted at least an hour. In that same amount of time, During the same time we had this conversation, the guys were in the hotel room and they "talked" about this, which was, so you and 'x' huh, how's that going. The response, I like her. Think you'll continue this long distance after the trip. I want to. And then they went back to playing video games in the room. Meanwhile, we're talking about his personality, how would she feel about a ldr, etc.10 Reply

Guys don't really have "sleepovers" like girls do. When guys get together there typically isn't much talking involved. There is usually an activity happening such as playing games or working on something or playing a sport. Even when guys do talk, it isn't like when girls do. It's usually about sports, video games, movies, sexual encounters, music or something that the group mutually cares about. If women are discussed, typical guys tend to refrain from showing emotion and feelings and stick to details about what they have done or would like to do sexually. Most discussions about guys sexual exploits are either completely false or greatly embellished, but some are true. This is probably far from what you wanted to hear but it is truth in what I would assume is over 50% of the time that guys hang out in a group larger than 3.

+1 yWe don't call them sleepovers. Well, kind of. We do camps and sometimes have parties where we game all night and then go to sleep. Usually, we talk about girls (who we like), weird things that have happened to us, someone usually tells lots of dirty jokes. I was at one where someone was discussing some high tech device their sister had inside of her to stop her getting pregnant. Someone usually does not spill the beans on who they like and gets dogged. Someone (not me) usually says they have a special gift for everyone and lets out noxious odours.

Guys talk about whatever is relevant in the moment. If they're playing video games, they talk about video games, if they're watching television, they talk about television. Rarely does it come to conversations about each other's lives. Case and point, one of my friends transferred to a different college from the one he originally attended, and I didn't find out until a couple months later when my mom, who had been talking to his mom, asked me about it. Guys for the most part don't have deep friendships with other guys. We keep our private lives private.

Anonymous(36-45)+1 ysleepovers are something children do.
But at say a poker game...
We talk about everything from topics that interest us, and yes women, but not the "Oh I banged her, she was nice man" hell no... we talk about bullshit women do in general, gripe about our wives or gfs, etc.10 ReplyWe usually just stay up late playing video games and eating pizza. Me and my friends usually tell stories about funny or crazy things that happened and yes obviously we talk some about girls. A lot of them like to get competitive about who's getting the most so they tend to exaggerate and make up stories.

Anonymous(25-29)+1 yThe older guys get the less they talk about stereotypical topics. My friends don't talk about cars and barely about sports. Even in my other groups it's just guys evolve.
It's always girls related for some reason. My friends went from cars, soorts, games to only talking about girls really gets kinds boring honestly00 Reply
+1 ybeing a bohemian character, I spent so many alone nights under sky, in the tent, sometimes, some friends accompanied me... thiose nights were full of music and convos. mostly music, but If I start talking, I usually sleep very less, the subjects generally fly from one to another topic... most used topics I guess, the adventurous experiences...

+1 yGuys don't do sleepovers after middle school.
But if we're just hanging out, chances are the TV is on and that's the main focus. Conversations are generally limited to cars, sports, guns and boobs.20 Reply
