Why would he unblock me then ignore me?

He broke things off with me yesterday over something so dumb. We did talk for an hour yesterday morning and at the end of our conversation he asked if I would stop calling and texting him well I never gave him a direct answer so he hangs up and blocks me. Well, this evening he unblocks me, but he's ignoring me. Why unblock someone just to ignore them? He didn't want me calling him or texting him anymore so he blocked me, now I'm unblocked.

Because he's not concerned about you to the point that he's already moved on. He doesn't have to worry about freaking out every single time he sees your profile. He's letting go without having you subconsciously control his life.

He moved on pretty quick, he wasted no time in finding someone the same day during our fight. The fight was extremely stupid. I guess those other girls come first.

You're not in a relationship with him anymore, so your not a concern to him. It's not that they come first. You're just not a priority. However, at the same time, it sounds like to me he was already cheating on you while in the relationship with you. Nobody just do K-12 dating by saying yes immediately to getting asked out. Obviously it;s not the real deal. He played you and he's going to do it again with every chick he scores.

He told me yesterday over the phone that he still loves me and that he cares about me and he'll never get rid of those feelings even if he's in a relationship with another girl.

Yeah, he's full of crap. If he cared about you in that way he would have tried to make it work. He doesn't have to get back with you. But to get another chick IMMEDIATELY in less than 24 hours? Drop the idiot. He doesn't love you. He loves using your emotions.

That's very true. I told him that yeaterday too. If he felt that way then he wouldn't be talking to those other girls he would still be with me. I always felt like he was using me and toying with me and when I confronted him about it he denied it. He denied it yesterday too.

Of course, he will. Becuase he got caught and he wants to make you look stupid because that's exactly what he thinks of you as. Anyway, he's not important now. Just move on.
