What does it mean if a guy looks at you while talking to someone else?

I was standing in line at the campus cafeteria yesterday (college student), and a male acquaintance whom I met through mutual friends, comes up to the two people in front of me in the line and starts talking to them. As he's talking to them, he keeps taking glances at me, and making eye contact quickly before looking away, and then looking back again. I could very well be reading too much into this, but there have been other signs he might be interested. He stares at me when I pass him in the hallway, and gets fidgety and nervous and looks at the ground when we talk with mutual friends. I can't decide if he's just naturally awkward, or if he might have a slight crush on me?

It doesn't mean anything. He was just looking at you. And it can be for numerous reasons. Don't get imagination running. AND TO CONFIRM CONFRONT HIM.

He might want your attention and wants to talk to you, but he's not having the courage to talk to you that's why he is getting nervous.
