Guys, What does it mean when a guy puts his hands in his pockets while talking to you?

Probably doesn't mean much. Some people don't know what to do with their hands so they put them in their pockets. For some guys however it might be a sign of insecurity/discomfort or disinterest in the conversation. By putting hands in the pocket the body language is not engaging or opening up. Would not look much into this behaviour however, too many variables.

Nothing. Actually I also have my hand in my pocket really often. Even during important presentations at work or at school. Sometimes people think it's when I'm bored, or lazy or so. That's false. It's just me.

I don't know if he oftenly has his hand in his pocket like me, but even tho I think it doesn't mean anyhing.

Ok, good to know. In terms of other stuff he does, he always opens doors for me, and when he asks me to come with him on work errands around campus, we talk about our school classes or what we're doing later etc.

He's my coworker and we were in the elevator alone together and he was facing me, leaning against the wall, with his hands in his pockets. We were just talking about our 4th of July plans and how it sucks to have to work and stuff like that. So I don't think he was lying about anything if that's what you mean.
