I just don't like them at all. The only time I use them is to convey my tone when whatever Im saying seems to harsh when irl, Id say it as a joke or something. Also, I'm on android so I get all the bad emojis lol. I have no problem with recieving emojis from someone though, it definitely makes the conversation easier

I use emoji rarely when I want to talk and when I am in mood to talk. Sometimes I want to convey the message that I am not serious person which I am.
Most of times guys use when they are flirting with the girl as it is psychological fact that girls respond to the guys who use emoji.
Hope it helps. :)
What Guys Said
Most guys just don't like them. I personally hate how overused they are. I will use them on occasion, but only in certain scenarios and usually just for a laugh, but oh 🐳, that's just me.
I use emojis all the time!!! 😯😯I had no idea it was a thing people decide to purposefully do or not. They help me convey my message better with emotion
Cos only kids and girls use them often. Even selfies too are overrated. I deleted snapchat and instagram the second I got to Uni and started feeling less like a kid and more like a man, now I stick to mainly facebook and twitter.
I do

Since text can be misunderstood tonewise, I sometimes use emojis to clarify my tone, so I don't mess up things with my future crush 😂.
I only use them to make out how I said my text clearly like if I said it angrily, sarcastically, playfully and so on
They're too confusing to use without words. There's really no point to them, and they seem pretty childish to me. It makes it harder to be funny, serious, or anything like that
I really don't like them all too well. Since I'm a boring person, none of them would really match me anyway.
I use them all the time, especially at work. I wonder if I come off as a girl. ;-)
