Well, I asked my girlfriend to play tennis with me because I wanted to share my interest with her and cherish more moments with her. I would have asked a female friend to play badminton with me but I don't think I'll ask just any female friend to play tennis with me. If u r very good in tennis and he asked u, maybe it's just a friend zone but if you are a total beginner and he asked u, there is a very high chance that he is into u. by the way, there is also a chance that he is trying to impress u unintentionally.

We both don't play tennis.. lol He's asked me to go play baseball and I said no a few weeks ago. Now it's tennis. lol

He does come by my desk (we work on deff dept but Same company) every day to say hey and joins my group for lunch sometimes

Well, going to your desk everyday to say hi means that to some extent, he likes u (however it doesn't mean that he is into u yet). Joining the same group means that he wants to be involved in the things that u do and asking u out repeatedly means that he wants to spend more time with u.. So u r more than just a friend to him :)

Well, he's never played tennis either! Lol. He asked for me to play basketball a while back but I said I can't play that at all. Then a month later he asked about tennis.

He also comes say hi at my desk a lot.
