Why does he look at me with soft puppy eyes?

This guy I really like (I think he knows) looks at me like I'm the most precious thing he has ever seen. I've dreamed of being looked at with that soft gaze. He looks at me like he wants to protect me and it melts my heart so so much.

so, is this natural or it it learned? And why do guys do this?

It is possible he has practiced that look but he didn't. If he looks at you that way, you already know what he is thinking.
