What does it mean when a guy strokes your hair and smiles at you after kissing?

So, we kissed for the first time and after the kiss he just smiled at me and stroke my hair. Is this a good sign?

Whenever I kiss a girl that I really like, I actually do the same thing. I'm not exactually sure why, but I think a lot of guys do the same thing. I hope this helps! -J
