Like, nothing can happen twice without happening once. What do you guys think?
What does this quote mean?

what it means to me is...for example, if a guy lies to you once, it might be a fluke, give him a second chance, but if he does it twice, he's definitely going to do it a third time and probably more.
or if you eat at a restaurant once and get food poisoning, it could just be a random thing, but if it happens twice, it will probably happen again.
basically, it's like 3 strikes you're out, but instead it's saying 2 strikes you're out, and actually I kind of agree.
when something happens once it could always be a fluke, but once it happens twice, it becomes a likelihood.
I agree with you.. I think I've always understood it. Just thought it had a deeper meaning or something. But thanks for your answer.
I don't agree with this analogy. because i am a man. And a heeds an improper warning to womanhood. Your suggesting that a guy who lies will always lie. but that's simply not accurate by any means. This age-old idea of men must evolve, have you ever asked your self what exactly do they gain by lying, or who do they "believe" they are protecting, or why they are even judged so much about their nature that they need to lie to their counterparts?
Or for a better analysis think back to a time when men didn’t “lie” or covet stories for the sake of the greater good for themselves or others”
Everything that has happened once, are of the creator (GOD), the architect of things by design.
The first tree, the first fish, the first human, the first lion, the unique strands of things universally.
Everything that has happened twice, are of the growing (GODS), referring to ourselves, we are co-creators, and extension of god, with similar abilities but lack of knowledge so we repeat our mistakes twice & thrice over until we understand or create another path.
Change how you “think” men should “act”, then men will act different.
I don't know guys. I think all of you overthought it, its not that deep its like a satiric statement. Everything that happens once won't happen again. that means there is no 2nd chance and if there's no second chance you can surely say if it happens twice there's a third time because there won't be a second chance to begin with cus it can't happen again
Don't over think it.
Things that happen once only happen once. Otherwise, it will have happend twice, and if it happens twice there's a really good chance it will happen a third or more times. One is one. Two is more. Period.
I think I've always understood it. Just thought it had a deeper meaning or something. But thanks anyways.
That's the cool thing about sh*t like this. It means whatever you think it means. There is no wrong answer. I kind of dig the chick's answer below too.

The answer is simple.
There are only three kinds of physicists. The ones who can add, and ones who can't.
See what I mean?

i take it as, anything special like falling in love REAL love only happens once because there is no one else out there more perfect for you. But if you've felt this way about someone more than once, two, three times, odds are that your going to keep falling in love with people as long as you want to.
Are you f***ing with me...OK I'm just goanna take a shot in the dark at this one. OK it might not be saying that it can happen twice without happening once like you think, it might just be stating the obvious, that if it happens once it will happen twice, and then there is a statistically increased chance that it will happen a third time...Just guessing though (sorry if it sounds mean) I could be wrong though
