She ALWAYS AGREES! One thing that's driving me nuts?

So there's this girl I've known for a couple years now and there is one thing that unequivocally drives me nuts, in a negative way. Every time I say I like something, or have an opinion on something, she ALWAYS AGREES! There are times where I KNOW she doesn't like something or doesn't have the same viewpoint on something (through something she said or did in the past that I remembered) and she will contradict herself just to agree or say she also likes/dislikes it.

Why would somebody do this? It's insulting when I know she likes something and says she doesn't just because I said I hated it.

Hey! Thought I'd answer since I know you better by now :) You have pretty strong opinions about a lot of things, which is a good thing, but I'm not sure she can keep up with that. She might agree with you, but really disagree, because the reasons for her opinions aren't solid and she doesn't know/want to explain why she thinks something. Maybe she thinks she'll upset you, or another possibility is that she's not really listening to you and is just going along with what you say. At least, that might explain why when it comes to politics, religion, etc. If things go more like this: "I hate dancing."(you) "I hate it too!"(her), and she always likes/dislikes anything you like/dislike, then she's trying way too hard to please you, and it's obviously not working. She probably doesn't know she's insulting you though, unless you tell her she might keep thinking it's perfectly fine to agree with everything you say lol

I don't know, some people just have that annoying habit. It's like they need to feel liked/accepted by everyone and maybe that's why they have the tendency to agree with whatever the other person says, as if to say "hey look at me, we have crap in common so you have to like me, right?". And honestly, I feel like it literally does become a habit for some people; they do it for so long that they just automatically start to do it, like those idiots that always say "I know" to everything when they obviously don't haha. These are both habits commonly associated with five years olds but hey, guess we don't all grow up.

I say call her out for it and see what happens hahahaha I'n curious to see what her reason for it will be
