Do white guys prefer Asian girls to white girls? Do they find them more attractive?

I'm an Asian girl and have noticed that all but one of my mates ex's have had a crush on me (either my mate has been told about it or I have been told by the guy). A couple of guys when asked about it they claimed I was 'hotter' than most of the girls they knew.
It seems weird to me as I have never been interested any white guy apart from one of which I am currently dating now. When I asked him why he liked me he replied with me being the following - intelligent, independent, good sense of humour and beautiful.
I personally do not think I am very humorous or beautiful. Could it be that intelligence and independence is a thing white guys admire? Or is it that they find Asian girls attractive in general?

Since you are making generalizations about a generic "white guy" and generic "Asian girl" I will give a generic answer.

Most Asian girls (I am talking about primarily east Asian) have delicate, feminine bone structures and are petite. This is attractive to many white men. Many see slim and delicate as attractive in a female form.

Also, the dark straight hair and youthful facial features is attractive to many white men.

Part of the attraction is also the mystique of "opposites attract." But in general I don't think it is so much their personality traits as their looks.

To me it also seems that Asian men also tend to have that feminine bone structure. So I am fascinated when women find Asian men attractive. I would think they think they look effeminate.

to me attraction is familiarity... I had no exposure to Asian when young so it is hard to be attracted. beyond that, I don't know for those who had exposure to both. I think both can be attractive in that case.

Yes perhaps? My boyfriend however had no exposure to Asians when he was younger, yet he was still attracted to me. So it is a possibility that familiarity doesn't always correlate attraction?

As an Arab women i do agree its hard to find an ugly Asian girl but on the other hand its hard to find an extremely beautiful one either unless she's mixed with white. Asian women tend to look very similar across the board in comparsion to other races and this may be due to the fact of similar features and skin tones. I feel Asian women are the next safe option for white men next to white women because a lot of other races actually don't prefer Asian women.

One thing that you may need to worry about is "Yellow Fever" which is a fetish many non-Asian men have about Asian women. It's all about Asian women being quiet and subservient to men in their traditional Asian cultures. You don't want a guy with Asian fever. You want a guy who wants you for you regardless of your traditional culture.

Yeah, that's not me - I do not have Yellow Fever at all (*). I just find lots of Asian women hot physically.
