It definitely isn't a "bad" thing but to some it may not be manly... In fact if you said, "my friend gave me some flowers" other men might bully the guy for being in the woman's position -- that he should have given them to the girl.
If it is someone that I really appreciated and had a connection with, then receiving a few flowers would feel fine. I wouldn't expect anything really fancy though. Don't be going overboard. Something simple is always good.

No no no! I do not want flowers that's a women's thing us guys need something more manly I know it the thought that counts but that's precisely it its telling us you think we are girly (less of a man) its a slap to the face and we feel disrespected I'd advise you don't give flowers to guys unless their gay
I would be fine with it, but make sure that the guy you give flowers to would be okay with it and that he doesn’t need to like “take charge” and “be the man in the relationship”.
I love going and choosing flowers for a girl and arranging then in a case for her. No one has ever bought me flowers but I wouldn't refuse /get offended at a girl turning up at my door with a bunch..
It’s weird to give guys flower.. Most people don’t think so but... I think guys would rather have a gift that brings out the challenging nature in them.. Or maybe something that could be ‘useful’.
It's cute and it's the thought that counts, but I'd probably kill them after a couple days. If you're going to do a gift, id rather a memory or something that's not going to die.

They are pretty and smell good, what’s not to like?

If a girl gave me flowers as opposed to a lambo or... I mean what's the benchmark here?

I prefer the other way around however that never happens 😂 I don’t mind tho but would appreciate if it happened.
Shiiiiittt a gift is good from anyone especially your woman
Sure why not, as long as you know they're not gonna live long.
Depends on what the flowers mean I guess lol
Its not bad. I now have something where before I didn't have anything.
I don't have any particular affinity for flowers but the gesture is nice.
I would find the gesture really cute, especially since it's out of the ordinary haha, but other than that I'm not really into flowers
They wilt, dry up, and die.
I'd rather have another skull to add to my collection.
Not really some much flowers but the sentiment means more then anything
I don't mind it. But I like it more if it's a potted plant of some sort.
I'd rather have a crystal, I hear those are a popular flower alternative these days. I think any kind of gesture like that is nice though I'd like it
The gesture is nice but flowers die ultimately and I'm not that much into gifts personally. I prefer quality time over gifts.

Every gift dies in its own way.. getting a flower unexpectedly is a memorable. Except if you get it occasionally.
