If your interaction with male friend (both of you in commited relationship or married) is 90% bantering (in person and over text) is that being comfortable around her or showing interest in her. Otherwise you share same interests and are free time activity friends. When serious, you talk about eachother personal lifes (work issues, what's new at home, childhood)

Enlighten yourself... what's your endgame? Why are you talking to him? Why not your partner?
You need a friend... cool. Find a female friend. If you really think it's harmless, tell your SO about it and ensure him it's ok if he does the same. Do you want him texting another woman the way you text this guy?
Finally, if it's truly innocent, you should have no issue with your SO reading the conversations that have taken place. Maybe all of you will hang out and laugh about it too... right?
