Why guys like big/voluptuous lips on women?

I have big and voluptuous lips and guys always tell me that they love my lips, why?

I don't. Honestly a lot of the time is guys pick the most prominent facial feature for a woman and say "I love women with x". They feel good for the compliment and guys noticing

I don't know why so many girls make their lips look so big and puffy.
