What are women better at than men?
What are men better at than women?
What are women better at than men?
There are biological factors like these..
"cognitive attributes are different in males and females. Generally, females show advantages in verbal fluency, perceptual speed, accuracy and fine motor skills, while males outperform females in spatial, working memory and mathematical abilities"
Other than that...
I think it's what culture has granted us
Women are better with fashion because they wear fashion more while men get ready faster because they tend to have less things to focus on maintaining such as outfits and hair.
I think women are more health conscious than men as they tend to be more critical of their appearance so they cook better and they have a more fitness lifestyle than I think men could have... These are mainly assumptions here...
As I am sure there are men that feel the same way here
But my point is, how gender chooses to react or fit into society naturally provides them with advantages and disadvantages
Like for example, on average what do men do more than women? That makes them naturally better at doing it
Opening jars. Getting rid of spiders. Getting ready to leave the house in 5 minutes.
You are very right there. That is an accurate list.
Speaking of... I just watched a half hour of home movie clips and the one that made me laugh was a guy trying to catch and release a giant spider from on his wall. He put a sieve over it, and it bounced/jumped inside it, and it freaked him out and he let go and it fell on the floor. (Guys are better at catching bugs, I'm just saying I love that human reaction that's like Aghgghgh!) Yuck. I don't like the hairy ones.
Physically, being stronger and withstanding physical trauma.
Mentally, in my opinion it's getting along with people even if you dislike them. Think about the days when men had to hunt, being in groups was essential and men had to put their personal beef aside to get shit done, otherwise you will have to starve. Not a good idea.
being annoying

Dealing with the elements, working dirty, dangerous and or labor intensive jobs dealing with being uncomfortable physically.
Really anything blue blue collar related. As our bodies were designed to better deal with the elements are more durable naturally stronger and able to get stronger and adapt to the elements and things more easily then women’s.
We’re also better at thinking logically and rationally, being decisive, not letting our emotions overcome us or get in the way. And we’re better at dealing with and doing dangerous things.
Its how how we were not only able to conquer the natural world but also build the modern world as we know it.
thats why even in today’s world of equal opportunities we dominate the most physically intensive, dirty, uncomfortable and dangerous jobs in the world.
Women are just not able to anticipate multiple outcomes. Men can have two plans one for success and one for failure. Women usually have one, it depends if they trust, if they distrust the person or circumstances they will anticipate to fail or to be lied to, if they trust they often take promises as done business. Because of this it is easier to surprise a woman, but they can get much more disappointed and hurt what often discourages them to take risks. So I'd say men are better at things that requires risk taking.
Hmmm. Interesting.
I 100% agree about women and risk taking. Females have a more sensitive stress response to low-grade stress, compared to men. But I'm wondering how you tied these ideas together. I have never heard anything about planning/not planning for multiple outcomes. Did you read that somewhere, or came up with it based on your observations?
Easier to surprise women? Weird. Women notice a lot of details.
"Can get much more disappointed and hurt"... interesting. That's true for myself, I purposely don't like to get too hyped up on things that have a low chance of happening or until I've flushed out the plan more. But I don't know about everyone else.
One is just the direct outcome of the other one. If someone avoids risks they won't develop the ability to anticipate multiple outcomes, but instead develop the vision for more predictable outcomes from the same amount of information (attention to details). And while men think the way like "if a happens I do x, if b happens I do y" women seemly think like "what to do to make sure that a happens?" It is mostly my interpretation, but few years ago I saw a documentary where men and women were go-cart racing and they measured their testosterone levels what was a very clear indicator for risk taking. Also a woman would probably spot sooner if under my raincoat I tried to smuggle a pony into to house, but when women don't expect 'A', 'B' usually results tears (joy or sadness).
Again, hmmm. Not sure quite what to say here.
I love the pony under the raincoat being snuck into the house. 🐎
So you theorize that because women are so naturally adverse to risk, their minds simply do not want to consider an alternative strategy. But one could argue that for that exact reason, they would need to consider the alternative, in order to avoid the outcome which they don't want.
But maybe this isn't about choice. It's about a commitment to the application of only one method, which is sort of not a choice at all. But most things are choices - choices of higher and lower risk, higher and lower payouts. Like whether to stay in one state and work on the homestead, or pick up their entire lives and gamble on cashing in in the gold rush in California. (But, in contrast, not have any doubt about instead going into the shovel selling business. That was an obvious win-win decision.)
I guess the testosterone theory makes sense. It doesn't exactly need to be incorporated to discuss these differences of risk, but it could be either one motivator or the main motivator, yes.
Tears of joy and sadness are just emotions more accessible in women. Whether they be for biological or environmental/societal reasons, it takes less to elicit an emotional response of tears in women.
Would I cry if you smuggled a pony into the house? I'm not sure. Maybe! But I know I'd laugh, that's for sure. Who doesn't love a horse in the house!

Fighting fires, controlling our emotions and keeping a level head in emergency/crisis situations (allegedly), positions of power. But on the flip side, I'm sure you can a woman who is better than a man in each example I listed. So while I'm sure there are exemptions to the rule, I speak of these in generalities
Men are mainly the builders and doers.
Houses, buildings, roads, machines, cars, planes, ships, trucks, computers, HVAC, refrigerators, indoor plumbing, electricians, farming, energy obtainment, mining, food procurement, inventors, explorers, protectors.
These are the things men usually excel at. Need something built? Need something repaired? It is usually a guy.
Lifting weights, reaching things, running, throwing, catching, math, science, etc. This is Men as a whole vs Women as a whole. Individually there are women who can be better at certain things in this list than me or other individual men. There are women taller, faster, stronger, and even smarter than me, but they are overall less abundant. I'm taller than the average man which automatically makes me taller than the average woman. I'm in the top 1% mentally for Males and a slight skew for females likely less than 1%. I am slower than an olympic female runner and weaker than a female weigh lifter, but I could surpass the weight lifter. It's more about the combination of abilities and how you compliment each other anyways. I can still offer the strength and reaching and she can offer the flexing and running.
Isabel I'm someone who really hates the gender wars and the resentment that some men have for all women and vice versa. It's destructive and pointless. The whole idea that one gender is better than the other as a general proposition is asinine.
All that said, I think that in general men are better at lifting heavy objects than women.
🏋️♂️
honestly both of their benefits, it's better to be a man because we don't have periods or have to give birth. but it's better to be a woman in the fact that really you can get any guy you want if you are mildly attractive and because I enjoy spending time with kids you get to spend time with your kids without having to go to work if you so choose, so I think there are benefits for both genders it's just a matter of how you think about it
Anything that testosterone boosts. Physical labor, competition, innovation. We are different. Hope world gets that women should be nurses and men be truck drivers etc. It's just practical. Not all men women but you understand. Diversity. Accept difference in strengths both genders
I'll skip the obvious ones and go straight to the less obvious.
Comedy, problem solving, leading, avoiding prolonged drama, arranging furniture and other interior matters, and eating food. When I say eating food I'm referring to the fact that men can handle spicy food, savory foods and salty foods better than women. Though women are better with sour foods it seems.
Contrary to popular belief, I find women are vastly superior drivers to men.
this is a question I am really afraid to answer but there's many things men are better than women at and women are better than men at now I will say this and I'm not being chauvinistic women can't cook better than most of us guys women can do sports a lot better sometimes and they can shoot guns probably better than us to
Men are better at living out in the sticks completely alone. While there will be exceptions, women tend to require more socializing and friends than men do. I would say men adapt to long-term isolation better.
woman are better at quite a few things
I use to go to male barber who seemed incanale of giving me a haircut with anystyle and seemed only to excel at the "buzz" cut
I now go to a female barber who not only gives me a great haircut but actuallly understands what I want when I tell her how I would like my hair to look
incapable*
Men are certainly better than women in two fields : a) use of physical force and b) use of logic/strategic thinking. After all "men are hunters" ( and in the past they need both use of force and strategic thinking to survive, those who did not, didn't survive to pass on their genes ) . So essentially men have a distinct drive ( and excel at ) building things ( be it sky crappers or scientific theories ) , after all the "hunt for knowledge" never stops.
In general... plenty. The reverse is true also. Comparing men and women is like trying to compare a cactus and a spoon.
Spending a ton of money on a hobby followed by immediately calling a woman spending a moderate amount of money hobby stupid.
Or so my ex says. But fashion is stupid and I stand behind that.
tbh, shooting cum and giving us babies!
seriously, a lot of physical strength required things.
Ha-ha, asked the same question with exactly the same formulation LOL!
Not being influenced by emotions; Thinking about abstract things; fighting; being a leader
in my opinion neither sex is better or worse. And we're damn sure not equal.
We're different and we balance each other.
