I'm sure in the beginning most people of either sex will think about their recent exes and possibly ex-crushes. Some may also feel fine after initially breaking up, and then the feelings may start to sink in later. It really depends on the person. I think after enough time has passed, most people move on or at least try to to the best of their abilities, though.

Depends on the history of the relationship. As a general rule guys move on better if they are the ones that broke up with the girl. And they hang on a little longer often they were the one dumped. But it totally depends on the history.
