I’ve been with my boyfriend for two years and we always have the same fight how he likes girls on tik tok that shake there asses and are particularly naked. I always tell him how it hurts my feeling and it disrespectful that he does it. He gets mad at me and says it just social media and I should care that much. He finally ends up deleting his tik tok for a couple of days and saying sorry but then just re downloads it and does the whole thing over again. I don’t know what to do. It makes me extremely uncomfortable. He treats me good but he just seems like he never listens about something we tend to fight about a lot. Why would it matter if he liked the video or not? I feel like this is a red flag that he he can’t just look and not like it? Am I being over dramatic?

I don’t use TikTok or any social media but Facebook, so I don’t exactly know how it works... but if you mean “like” as in clicking the equivalent of a like button, showing his account name as having liked the content on the internet where people can see... then definitely is not an overreaction. He should be showing his loyalty to you, not feeding the ego of half naked girls on social media, at the expense of your feelings. I’m sure it would make you feel bad that he looks at that, even if he didn’t “like” it because we all like to think our partners have eyes for just us. Of course we also all know that people get attracted to more than one person and that’s natural. However, it’s something he should keep private out of respect for your feelings and your relationship. Keeping it private includes not leaving a trail indicating which other women he enjoys, in the form of “liking” things. Depending on who he is as a person, I would also be worried that he is sort of fishing for someone who’s content he “likes” to notice him liking it and dm him.

Yep. That’s what I tell my girlfriend all the time. It’s in my human nature to follow hot girls on social media who twerk their huge asses. I can’t help it. I’m a man. Just turned 20. I need to relieve myself, if you know what I mean. I need that release. It’s only natural, especially for my age, since I’m growing and maturing. It’s part of my health routine. No you're not being over dramatic. Treating you good includes respecting your feelings. Even if this is "no big deal" to him, he should respect and care about how it makes you feel.
