Guys, if a guy watches you enter or leave a room?

a guy i know often says hi and my name when he sees. but today he didn't even say hi to me. one thing i noticed though is that he tends to watch me enter the room or leave the room. i can literally see him looking at my eyes for a few seconds. this is a guy i work with. whats with his hot and cold behavior?

I do that a lot but I do it with everyone, monitoring for threats. Could mean something but also might mean anything
