Why is my bosses' voice more nurturing, more feminine, and caring when he is around me?

But we guys, almost 'instinctively', many times do change our voices or speak softer to women we speak to someone we find attractive and not even think about it happening. Kind of like a girl grabbing on a guy's arm, we tend to flex.

Personally, I feel it inappropriate if he's acting this way in a work or professional setting.
