Why do most people think being hit in the groin only hurts for guys?

Because guys tend to think they know better than us our own body. They think they are the only ones to feel pain because they have testicles. It is at least something rude to tell to someone in pain.
More generally women pain tend to be underestimated over the last decades.

They want to have a monopoly on the concept of pain. A guy I knew in high school kicked me in the crotch because he thought it “wouldn’t hurt,” and I ended up collapsing, shitting my pants (which was embarrassing as hell), and passing out for a while. It’s a universal weak spot for everyone, women included, and should be treated as such.

Yeah, it was awful. Especially because when I was on the ground recovering from the groin kick, I shattered the myth that “girls don’t fart”... some of them genuinely still believed that was the case before it happened. But I’m kind of grateful it happened too, because some of my friends were watching and I’m glad they know just how crippling even a single blow to the groin is for a woman. One shot of light to moderate force to the crotch is all it takes to bring even the strongest woman down, and that’s an extremely important self defense tip to know. That being said, that knowledge should never be abused like that. But yeah. It hurt, and luckily the people around me were empathetic enough to not make any comments about how I should be glad I’m a girl.

Of course I understand it hurts a lot for guys. But but it doesn't mean I should feel happy or lucky. It was like I was not experiencing real pain

They're essentially just saying they're jealous you're not experiencing that same amount of pain. I can get that stating the obvious can be quite annoying though

you saying it hurts for girls too will come over to many guys as if you're mocking the amount of pain they go through when being hit in the balls, just like it would be mocking to you if guys were to say something else (except for getting hit in the balls) would be equal to the pain of childbirth.
