Do guys respect and like girls with morals?

Okay although this was posted a year ago I'll offer my insight.

There are an equal amount of sluts as there are a**hole guys out there. Not all girls are sluts, not all guys think only about sex. Actually the majority of both male and females are not out for just sex.

I myself did not date at all until I was 23. Why? Because in my area there were far to many girls who had absolutely no standards or morals. My brother on the other hand started dating at 16 and then started hopping back and forth all the way till he was 26 since he wasn't too smart and mistook girls looking for sex as a girl looking for a true relationship.

Men yes do think about sex a bit more often then women, it's testosterone. It's in our nature to do so. However that doesn't mean that we are not looking for a stable true relationship. Most men including myself find it quite difficult to express our emotions openly. Cultural reasons most likely cause this, like how products like Barbie, play houses, etc are aimed towards girls whereas men have GI Joes, race cars, "manly" things aimed at them. Both genders being culturally placed at an early age and will continue to throughout puberty (especially puberty) and till about 18-20ish from peers. For example if a male went into acting he would be looked down upon by others, even if they want to act themselves souly for the purpose of fitting the status quota.

Also just because a girl has dated a lot doesn't mean she doesn't have standards, she could have been very well taken to the cleaners from jock a**holes. It doesn't make her a slut.

What I am trying to get to is that sex is not what drives a man (excluding a**holes) to want to date and have a relationship. A lot actually actively seek women with standards, morals, and a sweet almost innocent persona. I don't mean as in naive I mean as in a man wants a woman to settle down with. Movies, TV, marketing, etc all give trying to stereotype men as wanting to avoid marriage or stable relationships when in reality it's not true.

I waited until I knew I found the perfect companion for me, and I'm not religious or anything so that isn't the reason. The reason was I didn't want someone who would take me to the cleaners. It doesn't mean that I cannot find attraction to others but that also doesn't mean I will go and chase someone else.

I guess I'll leave you with this: A man who actively seeks for women who are sluts are not a man at all. Let the sluts "date" those a**holes so that way the path is cleared of them and you will find a true man, a person who wants companionship.

They are out there, true men prefer a girl with standards and morals.

I waited until she was ready, or comfortable enough to progress, 2 years actually and it did not bother me a bit. The conversations and memories formed together far outweigh sex.

I think it's better to look at it this way: guys that want sex are looking for girls that will give sex to them(but don't like to see it like that), guys that want a relationship look more for their personality.

Slut and whore are just words (other than if you mean a literal hooker). There's no real universal meaning, it's just a way to segregate people you don't like away from your group. Most people couldn't give a good definition of those words if they tried that actually applies to only those people. If you look at it just with those terms it will take you a while to figure this all out.

So then what's the glass ceiling? Is it 5 partners you are then a slut? What if you have sex with 5 partners, but once only? Does that make you a bigger or smaller slut than someone who has had sex with two partners ten times each? It's a matter of opinion like ugly or tasty, usually affected by your opinion of the person.

Well I would say the glass ceiling is their self control and sticking to their guns. its not the amount of parteners you have had or how many times you have had sex but weather you are incontrol. weather when she says no she and her partener understand that she will not be persuaded. will she just have sex with any one and every one she is with, when ever they want or does she say no. is she easy or does she make you work for it? Yes terms are subjective but with the exception of math what isnt

yes we do- trust me, a man wants and desires a girl with class, backbone. A chick who will inspire him, and as a man who just turned 31, it's hard to come by. By the time ladies get that age, many of em are damaged, some of 'em just float from one jerk to another. But yes, we love girls who have morals. I love 'em, because they know what they want, and 90% of the time, they are complete people too.

At your age, guys might prefer standards. At my age, guys expect sex. I think either in or just after college guys start to figure that any decent relationship should be physical too. This worked out fine for me, because that's when my thinking changed as well.

At your age I would date a girl without the expectation of sex. At my age, a girl might be waiting for marriage or something and that is a different story. I don't know anyone that has a preference for "sluts" as you put it, but I don't know many people that would not be with a girl just because she has sexual experience. I don't consider a woman that has long stable relationships that eventually lead to sex as a slut. Even if she has been with several guys. On the other hand, if a girl sleeps with a different guy every night, I guess she is a slut.

I consider myself a religious guy. I'm a Messianic Jew, I just don't attend any services because I've formed my own beliefs about G-d and stuff. I used to belive that premarital sex was a bad thing, until I really thought about it.

I admire girls who can wait, it shows self-control and at least you know for sure that they aren't screwing some other guy in the background.

Since I'm no longer a virgin, I would feel like a molestor dating a girl like that. I know better, but it just gives me this crazy feeling.

I prefer girls who make you work to get in to bed with them. I call those girls "kitty cats" because cats make you work for your affection.
